New! RubiCon VI: Love, Passion, and the Darkness

April 4, 2016 By RubiconAstro in News No Comments

Our May 7th* RubiCon should really have been titled: “Caution: Intense Topics!” Armand Diaz, Ph.D., starts us off with “Mars, the Forgotten Planet in Relationships.” Mars rarely stays forgotten for long, which is why we have another Mars-themed talk by Gary P. Caton: “Secrets of the Mars Rx Loops.” On May 7th, Mars will be retrograde specially for Gary’s talk, just to show off. Nadiya Shah will teach “Karma and Love: The Nodes in Relationship Astrology.” Speaking of heavy and intense topics, we are pleased to have Baris Ilhan teaching from Istanbul via the magic of technology on “The Fourth House: Our Grave or Treasure?” Register here; each talk is just $20.

*RubiCon VI is on Saturday instead of our usual Sunday, to avoid conflict with Mother’s Day in the U.S.

March 7, 2016 By RubiconAstro in News No Comments

I am very pleased to announce RubiCon V on Sunday, April 3 (register here). Our theme will be prediction, a topic near and dear to my heart. Writer and speaker April Elliott Kent will talk on the meanings of the void-of-course Moon, while the renowned traditionalist Lee Lehman, Ph.D. will demonstrate her technique with job and business horary charts. For those wanting to learn about the math and practical uses of secondary progressions, Sandra-Leigh Serio has you covered. Rounding out this lineup of stellar speakers is Mark Wolz, who will teach the methodology and purpose of predicting. You can find more detailed talk descriptions and bios here. It promises to be an exciting set of talks; register soon, as space is limited. See you there!

The RubiCon Mission Launch

September 1, 2015 By rubiconastro in Uncategorized No Comments Tags: astrology, learning

We are excited to announce RubiCon, an ongoing web lecture series for astrologers. Our speakers are some of the most renowned astrologers in the world, as well as up-and-coming new voices. RubiCon’s mission is threefold: build global community, provide world-class, affordable astrological education, and push the boundaries of astrological knowledge.

  1. Build Global Community: Anyone can join RubiCon lectures, as long as you have an Internet connection, or (in the United States), a phone. RubiCon springs from the belief that learning from and with astrologers all over the world makes us all better.
  2. Provide world-class, affordable astrological education: We believe that top-notch astrology should be accessible to all, so we price the web lectures to be fair to the students and the lecturers.
  3. Push the boundaries of astrological knowledge: Our speakers are experts in their fields, whether they are outstanding generalists or masters of obscure astrological arcana. They all have valuable insights to share and we want to give them the venue for doing so.
